Klovr ("we", "us", or "our") is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that data.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information when you use Klovr Rise:

• Account information: Your email address and display name when you create an account.
• Resume content: The text extracted from your uploaded PDF resume, used solely to perform the ATS analysis. This is processed in-memory and is not stored on our servers after the analysis is complete unless you explicitly save it.
• Job descriptions: The job description text you paste for analysis. Treated the same as resume content.
• Payment information: We use Stripe to process payments. We do not store your card details. Stripe's privacy policy governs payment data.
• Usage data: Basic analytics such as pages visited and features used, to help us improve the product.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide the ATS resume analysis service
• To manage your account and subscription
• To send transactional emails (account confirmation, password reset)
• To improve and develop new features
• To comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not use your resume content or job descriptions to train AI models.

3. Data Storage and Security

Your account data is stored securely using Supabase, hosted in the Asia South (Mumbai) region. We use industry-standard encryption for data in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and at rest. Resume files are processed in memory and not written to persistent storage.

4. Third-Party Services

Klovr Rise uses the following third-party services:

• Supabase — authentication and database
• Anthropic (Claude AI) — powers the resume analysis
• Stripe — payment processing
• Google — optional Google sign-in (OAuth)

Each of these services has its own privacy policy. We encourage you to review them.

5. Cookies

We use essential cookies to maintain your login session. We do not use advertising cookies or track you across other websites.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your account and associated data
• Export your data in a portable format

7. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where required to retain it for legal or billing purposes.

8. Children's Privacy

Klovr Rise is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or a prominent notice in the app. Your continued use of Klovr Rise after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
